WebShell Update for Linux
(version 2.3 RC4 and higher)

There can be two different situations in which you need to update WebShell in two different ways:

Procedure 1

This procedure applies if you have H-Sphere 2.3 RC4 or later and you haven't deleted the the directory from which you installed this version of H-Sphere. First, you need to go to the H-Sphere installation directory, for example U23RC5. Then:
- If you are running WebShell 2.4 or older, you need to update WebShell with PHP and other required libraries and packages by typing:
make webshell
- If you are already running WebShell 3 and would like to get only the latest build of this version, type:
make websh

Procedure 2

If you run H-Sphere older than 2.3 RC4 or you have deleted the directory you installed it from, the easiest solution would be to update H-Sphere to the latest build following the online documentation. Make sure to run '#make boxes' during the installation. Once you are done with H-Sphere update, make sure you are in the installation directory, for example U23RC5, and type:
make webshell
This will:
1. Update web boxes php to 4.3
WARNING! osCommerce 2.0 and some php scripts may stop working as a result of the upgrade
2. disable webshell2 cgi scripts;
3. install webshell3 files;
4. update the CP to use webshell3 as the web FileManager tool.
