Urchin 4 and 5 installation on H-Sphere Windows server is very simple and takes minimum configuration steps:

1. Install Urchin as instructed by Urchin Installation Guide.
2. Log into H-Sphere control panel server as root.
3. In the hsphere.properties file configure the following variables:
   URCHIN_SERVER_ID = 1
   URCHIN_PORT = 9999
   URCHIN_SCHEDULER_START = 2
   URCHIN_SCHEDULER_FINISH = 4
   URCHIN_PROTOCOL = https
   Where:
   URCHIN_SERVER_ID is ID of a logical server where Urchin4 is installed;
   URCHIN_PORT is a port where Urchin 4 is installed;
URCHIN_SCHEDULER_START and URCHIN_SCHEDULER_FINISH variables set the period of time when statistics can be collected. e.g: between 2 and 4 o'clock;
URCHIN_PROTOCOL sets a protocol to connect to the Urchin control panel.
4. This step is for H-Sphere 2.3.1 Patch 2 or older. If you are installing Urchin 5, create directory c:\Program Files\Urchin\data\log. This isn't necessary for later versions of H-Sphere.
5. Restart HSphere for changes to take effect.
